HOW TO BOOK A HUNT WITH WICKED OUTFITTERS

Booking a hunt with Wicked Outfitters is very easy. You can simply go to our on-line booking calendar, find an open date, click on the date and complete the reservation. Or, just simply call us and we will handle all the details.

WICKED OUTFITTERS SOUTH EAST KANSAS TROPHY WHITETAIL HUNT

Step 1 - Once you have reserved your hunt dates, you need to make a non-refundable deposit to lock-in your reservation. The deposit is only refundable if you are unsuccessful in drawing a harvest permit from the State of Kansas, if there is a medical emergency or a death in the family. You have seven (7) days after you book your hunt date to make your deposit. If you fail to make your deposit within the seven (7) days, we will release the reservation for other hunters waiting to book a hunt.

Step 2 - You have to apply for your deer permit through the KDWPT (Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism). WICKED OUTFITTERS CAN NOT APPLY FOR YOU but we can guide you through the application and process. You can apply through the KDWPT website or apply by phone by call the KDWPT at 620-672-0728.

Wicked Outfitters is located in the Kansas deer unit 11 you will need to insure you apply for UNIT 11. Along with the Deer Permit you will have to purchase a Kansas Hunting License. If you were born after 1957 you will also have to provide your hunter safety card number as well. The KDWPT will add an internet convenience fee to you on-line permit application or preference point.

Hunter applies in unit 11 and selects one adjacent unit in which to also hunt, as well as the season choice (archery, muzzleloader, or firearm) at the time of application.

Group Hunt:​ The group hunt application is to accommodate those who do not want to hunt unless their hunting partners draw also. Applicants (up to 5) must apply for the same unit and the same weapon choice. You must have the group leader's KDWP Customer ID Number to join the group.

Muzzleloader permit holders​ may hunt during early muzzleloader season and regular firearm season using muzzleloader equipment only.

If you are unsuccessful in the draw, you receive a refund for your permit fee, less processing fees retained by the KDWPT and a preference point for next year’s draw. If successful in the draw, you will need to purchase a nonresident hunting license.

If you click on the KDWP logo to the right it will direct you right to the location to apply for your Kansas Deer Permit and to purchase your hunting license.

 

WICKED OUTFITTERS SOUTHEAST KANSAS TURKEY HUNT

Step 1 - Once you have reserved your hunt dates, you need to make a non-refundable deposit to lock-in your reservation. You have seven (7) days after you book your hunt date to make your deposit. Step 2 - Turkey Permits are available over the counter for our unit. You will need to apply for Kansas turkey UNIT 6 Non Residents are allowed two Turkey Tags, one is the Game Tag the other is a permit. In addition to your turkey permit and game tag, you MUST have a Kansas hunting license, unless exempt by Kansas Law.

Kansas youth (15 and under) may purchase a spring turkey permit valid statewide for $12.50.

Any resident or nonresident hunter may purchase a turkey permit valid in units 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6. A turkey permit is valid for one bearded turkey.

Any hunter with a spring turkey permit is eligible to purchase one (1) spring turkey game tag valid only in units 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6. A spring turkey game tag is valid for one bearded turkey.

Spring turkey permits and game tags may be purchased online or over the counter at any vendor location from January 10 through May 30, 2013​. To purchase your tags and license online click on the KDWPT logo to the right.

WICKED OUTFITTERS SOUTHEAST KANSAS WATERFOWL HUNT

Step 1 - Once you have reserved your hunt dates, you need to make a non-refundable deposit to lock-in your reservation. You have seven (7) days after you book your hunt date to make your deposit. All waterfowl hunters 16 and older must have a federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp, and all hunters are required to obtain a hunting license must also have a Kansas State Waterfowl Stamp and a Kansas Harvest Information Program (HIP) stamp before hunting ducks, geese, or mergansers. (Those not required to have a Kansas hunting license include people hunting their own land, and residents 15 and younger)

Waterfowl Stamps and License

All Waterfowl stamps and licenses can be bought at any licensed Agent, Pratt Operations Office, or online. You cannot purchase the Federal Waterfowl Stamp at a licensed agent. They can be bought at a US Post Office. All Waterfowl stamps are good through season.

•Kansas HIP Stamp: $2.50
•State Waterfowl Stamp: $7
•Federal Waterfowl Stamp: 16.50
(Purchased at any KDWP office or at any US Post Office.)
48-hour Waterfowl license: $27.50

Federal stamps must be signed across the face of the stamp.
To purchase your license and stamps online click on the KDWPT logo. You will still need to purchase your Federal Waterfowl stamp once you arrive in Kansas before your hunt.

 

BOOKING A WICKED OUTFITTERS KANSAS PREDATOR OR UPLAND GAME HUNT

Step 1 - We do not ask for a deposit for our upland game or predator hunts. The full price of your customized upland game or predator hunt will have to be made once you arrive. The only thing you need to have is your Kansas hunting license.
